STATE NEWS — U.S. Supreme Court to hear arguments on Ten Commandments

“Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan, who had hoped to work with (Gov. Jennifer) Granholm to build a (Ten Commandments) statue, said he hopes the court allows the displays. ‘There is nothing in the Constitution that prohibits such displays,’ Glenn said. ‘The people of Michigan and all Americans have the right to acknowledge the religious heritage of our people in our public buildings.'”
